Coughlin & Company
Beginnings
With $1,500 of their own capital, the two brothers built a solid foundation for their investment banking firm—a foundation built on the only tools at their disposal: integrity, talent and service.
“Adversity makes better friends than good times,” became their motto. And as the nation emerged from the depression and Colorado began to flourish, Coughlin & Company grew and developed the strong customer base that would sustain it into the 21st century.
All of which was the result of persistence. Of the many qualities an organization can have, persistence is among the most important for success. No amount of talent, genius or education can make up for determination and hard work. Today is no different. And we think Ed and Walter would feel reassured by the character and dedication of the people who carry on the business they built. |
